01 — what this is
Deep End Grooves
Deep End Grooves is a listening project maintained by an anonymous curator that would rather keep the spotlight on the records.
The scope is deliberately narrow: deep house, deep tech and minimal deep tech, dub techno, dub lounge. Different rooms in the same building. What connects them is a preference for restraint — music built on repetition and space rather than incident, where the interest sits in the low end, the shuffle of a hi-hat, and the way a chord decays into reverb, rather than in any obvious hook.
Selections are made by hand and by ear. A record from 2012 that sold three hundred copies sits next to something released last Friday; the year is not a useful sorting mechanism. Much of what ends up here surfaced from long sessions in the back catalogues of small labels — Romanian minimal imprints, the long tail of Basic Channel, the deep house operations that have run quietly for two decades without troubling anyone's chart.
The standard is simple. Everything deep. All the time.

04 — submit a track
house music submissions
the scope is deep house, deep tech and minimal deep tech, dub techno and dub lounge. one track at a time, please, with a link that plays without a login. spotify, apple music or soundcloud.
unreleased material is welcome too. pitch a pre-release with the release date and a pre-save link or a private soundcloud, spotify or apple music link — send it with enough lead time to be useful.
everything sent through this form gets listened to. it goes straight to the person who picks the music, not to an inbox nobody opens.
only successful submissions get a reply. if you do not hear back, it was heard and it was not a fit — send the next one.
05 — questions
questions, plainly
- how do i submit music to a deep house playlist?
- use the form above. one track at a time, with a streamable link from spotify, apple music or soundcloud. every submission gets listened to.
- can i pitch an unreleased track for pre-save?
- yes. pick unreleased on the form, give the release date and a pre-save or private streaming link. send it with enough lead time to be useful — a track that lands tomorrow rarely does.
- what does deependgrooves cover?
- deep house, deep tech and minimal deep tech, dub techno and dub lounge. the scope is deliberately narrow.
- how often is the playlist updated?
- weekly. new additions go in at the top and the playlist gets pruned regularly so it stays listenable end to end.
- where else can i hear the selection?
- apple music and soundcloud carry the same selection. the apple music and soundcloud playlists follow the spotify playlist.
- will i hear back about my submission?
- only if the track goes in. everything is listened to, but there is no capacity to reply to every submission.
